FTOPS V Set for August 8th Launch
The months following the World Series of Poker are a busy time for the online world, and Full Tilt has announced that FTOPS V [Full Tilt Online Poker Series V] will begin on August 8th. FTOPS V will include 14 events spread across 12 days, with a guaranteed prize pool of $7 million that includes a $2 million guarantee for the August 19th Main Event.
Besides the Main Event, with a $500+35 entry fee, the FTOPS V schedule also includes a high-buyin, two-day event: Event #12, on August 18th, is a $2,500+120 no-limit event with a $600,000 guarantee. This one is a deep-stacked event with 30-minute levels, and on its first day will play either 15 levels or down to the final two tables, whichever comes first. The event will then resume the following afternoon to decide the winner.
