Don't miss out on the biggest tournament ever held in the Midwest's Premier Poker Room. The Midwest Regional Poker Championships are underway. It all kicked off with a $50,000 freeroll and will end with one person winning a seat at the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event/ There is plenty of guaranteed excitement in between.

The ladies will square off on Sunday, March 1st in a $200+30 buy-in event at noon. And for those looking for a change of pace, a half-pineapple / half-NLHE tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th at 3:00 PM.

The World Series of Poker Circuit is back in Atlantic City! Caesars Atlantic City will play host to the event from March 4th to March 14th. The ladies close up the action and take the felt on Saturday, March 14th at noon. The $200+30 buy-in event garnered 369 players last year and looks to attract even more players this year so make sure to bring your "A" game.

Make sure to check the Caesars WSOP Circuit tournament calendar for satellite information to win your way into the championship event to be held on Thursday, March 12th, starting at noon. (More information on Circuit events is available at worldseriesofpoker.com.) The three-day main event will end with one player winning his or her share of the prize pool, plus a seat in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.

LIPSTour is ready and raring to go! During the Spring Poker Classic at the Gold Strike Casino in Robinsonville, MS, women will have two chances to win their way into the LIPS championship. On Saturday March 7th at 11:00 AM, Gold Strike Casino will open up the felt for the $200+30 buy-in ladies-only no-limit hold'em event. Then on Sunday, March 8th, at 11:00 AM, the ladies will get their second chance at a seat into the LIPS Grand Championship.

Besides the two women's-only events, the Spring Poker Classic has plenty to choose from. There is a wide range of buy-ins and formats leading up to the No-Limit Hold'em Championship Event being held on Sunday, March 15 at 12:00 PM.

High Heels Poker Tour will be offering a one-day women's poker academy with poker pro Karina Jett at 8:30 AM on March 7th at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Karina will offer her insight, expertise and experiences as a professional player via hand-by-hand instruction in an atmosphere conducive to women who wish to bring their game to the next level or just learn the game. Women who attend the academy will receive entrance into a freeroll into Sunday's High Heels Poker Tour Ladies Event, along with giveaways and personal feedback from Karina.

High Heels will follow up the High Heels Poker Tour Academy with a $225 buy-in tournament on Sunday, March 8th.
