The Online Railbird Report usually takes a look at the high-stakes action on Full Tilt Poker, but the highest midweek action actually occurred over at the PokerStars tables. While Full Tilt had some action on Monday night and early Tuesday morning in the form of Patrik Antonius taking $411k off Kagome Kagome, the online player formerly known as IHateJuice, PokerStars was the home of the largest pots during the midweek, which we classify as between Tuesday and Thursday. It was there that Jared Harrington10 Bleznick played 2,790 hands over 25 sessions to become the midweeks biggest winner with $330,310 in profit. On the other end of the spectrum, David Benefield was the biggest loser, dropping $329,546 in 656 hands over 11 sessions on Full Tilt.

Biggest Pot of the Week is a Flip

Early Wednesday morning, BRAZZMONKEY was squaring off against urubu111 at the heads-up $50/$100 No-Limit Holdem tables on PokerStars. The pair agreed to do a $100,000 flip, and in the hand, BRAZZMONKEY ($99,997) was on the button and open-shoved all-in. Urubu111 ($99,998.50) insta-called, per the agreement, and the cards were turned up:

BRAZZMONKEY: K?8?
Urubu111: 7?3?

BRAZZMONKEY had the best hand preflop as the flop came down 8?5?7?, pairing both players but keeping BRAZZMONKEY in the lead with his pair of eights. The 4? on the turn added some chop-outs for urubu111, but the 5? on the river gave BRAZZMONKEY the win and the $199,994 pot, which accounted for most of his midweek profit. Talk about some gambling!

Refaelamit Rivers Higher Flush to Steal $112k Pot from Bleznick

The second-largest pot of the midweek occurred at the $100/$200 PLO tables on PokerStars. Action was five-handed when urnotindangr ($23,144) raised to $900 under the gun and refaelamit ($136,121) called on the button. After the small blind folded, Jared Harrington10 Bleznick ($53,960) exercised his big-blind option and made it $3,900 to go. Both his opponents made the call and the three players watch the flop fall 3?J?7?.

Action checked to refaelamit, who promptly bet $11,995. Bleznick then check-raised to $47,980, urnotindangr folded, refaelamit raised, and Bleznick called off his last $2,040.

Bleznick: 6?7?8?10?
Refaelamit: 6?3?5?9?

Both players had flopped flush draws, but as things stood, Bleznick was ahead with his pair of sevens. The Q? hit the turn and changed nothing; however, when the 10? peeled off on the river, refaelamit made a nine-high flush and barely defeated Bleznicks eight-high flush. Even though Bleznick went on to have a great midweek, he missed out on this $112,035 pot.

Nutsinho Flops Top Two

The only other pot over $100k played during the midweek happened early Tuesday morning. It was played five-handed at the PokerStars $200/$400 PLO tables and developed when Jared Harrington10 Bleznick ($50,176) raised to $1,200 from the cutoff only to have nutsinho ($108,599) reraise to $4,000 from the small blind. Bleznick made the call and the duo watched as the flop came down 10?6?3?, inspiring nutsinho to bet $6,200. Bleznick responded by raising to $26,995, nutsinho popped it to $89,380, and Bleznick called off his last $19,181.

The cards werent immediately turned over; instead, the 9? was put out on the turn followed by the J? on the river. Nutsinho was first to show and flipped 10?6?7?9? for a flopped two pair. It was obviously good, as Bleznick simply mucked. Nutsinho took down the $100,747 pot while Bleznick once again missed out on a monster pot; just as well, considering he would go on to win much more than that.
