The Full Tilt Online Poker Series returned last week with its 20th installment. After seeing a steady growth from series to series since 2009, the numbers are down thanks to the Black Friday fallout. What was originally slated to boast a guaranteed prize pool of $38,000,000 across 45 events, the prize-pool figures for FTOPS XX were reduced to about $13,000,000, its lowest guarantee since FTOPS VIII in May 2008.
Several players, though, have had an exceptional series so far. Thirty-three events are in the books, and Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi has made an impressive five final tables. The biggest individual prizes to date have gone to Andriy "imperior" Pavlyuk winning Event #24 for $205,500, and "DQnk" for a win in Event #1 worth $174,977.35. Other notables who have secured first-place finishes include Peter Jetten, Jonathan Karamalikis, Nik "Clairv0yant1" Persaud, Dominik "bastet2004" Stopka, and high-stakes cash game staple "NoPasaran." All of the events and winners are listed below, along with who has made multiple final tables and what's on tap for the remainder of the series.
