Cebu Added to APPT Season 5 Schedule
ThePokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) has announced the destination for its final leg of the Season 5 schedule. From April 24 through 30, players will touch down at the Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino in Cebu, Philippines. for APPT Cebu.
The series is highlighted by the PHP 100,000 (US $2,350) buy-in Main Event, which has been designated as an official Asia Player of the Year qualifying tournament. In Season 4, Team PokerStars Pro Vivian Im took down the Cebu Main Event for PHP 5.81 million after outlasting a field of 236. She made history by becoming only the second woman to make a APPT Main Event final table (Liz Lieu was the other) and the first to land in the winner's circle. She will return to defend her title in April.
The stop in Cebu will also include a series of side events offering a variety of games and buy-ins ranging from PHP 10,000 to PHP 250,000.

Players can qualify for APPT Cebu packages on PokerStars beginning on Feb. 13. All PokerStars qualifiers will stay at the luxurious Shangri-La Mactan Resort in Cebu.
