Both Events #8 and #9 exceeded their guarantee, with the former being won by ��Garbally�� and the latter by ��ottoman09��. They join a list of winners that include Michael "doneNdusted84" Kanaan, Jo?o ��joaosimaobh�� Sim?o, ��Mikleler��, ��mrcall912�� and ��errr_rick��.
Wednesday��s results had little effect atop the

However, ��ottoman09��s�� win, along with a 12th-place finish in Event #4 $216 No-Limit Hold��em Rush Turbo, saw him jump into third place on the leader board with 295 yards, while ��Garbally��s�� win, plus a 24th-place finish in Event #3 $1,060 No-Limit Hold��em Multi-Entry for $2,820 and 44th in Event #5 Pot-Limit Hold��em/Omaha High 6-Max for $450, put him in fourth place with 294 points.

Rush tournaments are not only popular, but also they��re prone to finish quickly. That��s what happened in Event #8, which surpassed its $50,000 guarantee by drawing 487 players and creating a prize pool of $97,400.
The U.K.��s Nikhil ��Clairv0yant1�� Persaud had experience in speedy tournaments, having defeated 487 players in FTOPS XX Event #29 $216 No-Limit Hold��em Cashout Turbo to win $13,492.45 and was making a run at his second gold jersey. Unfortunately, his time at the final table was cut short because he busted in sixth place with a $4,870 consolation prize. Likewise, Chris ��maxxscam�� Back, who topped a field of 649 players in FTOPS XVI Event #20 $322 PLO Heads Up to win $39,500, had his bid at a second title come to an end when he was eliminated on fifth place for $6,574.50.
��Garbally�� and ��archimides�� ultimately made it to heads-up play before striking a deal that saw each take home a little less than $20,000.

Tuesday��s second FTOPS tournament, Event #9, also surpassed its $200,000 guarantee by attracting 806 players and creating a prize pool of $254,100. A few notables managed to earn a piece of that money, including Rayan ��rkruok�� Nathan (19th - $1,397.55) and the winner of FTOPS XIX Event #34 $1,060 10-Game/6-Max, Alex ��derdings�� Jung, who finished in 14th place for $1,060. Likewise, the man affectionately referred to as ��Control V�� by the poker media, Athanasios ��Athanasios 9�� Polychronopoulos, finished in 10th place for $3,938.55
The final table was void of notables, but did see Romania��s ��ottoman09�� defeat Russia��s ��voehahn�� in heads-up play to capture the $54,250.35 first-place prize.
