More news has come out of Melbourne, Australia, about the 2013 World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific Caesars Cup. This time, 2005 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Hachem has released his first two picks for Team Asia-Pacific. He's selected five-time WSOP gold bracelet winner Jeff Lisandro and Australia's top all-time female money earner Jackie Glazier.

Lisandro is quite the WSOP juggernaut, giving Hachem a good reason for chosing him. In 2009, Lisandro won three WSOP bracelets during the summer in Las Vegas. That year, he captured gold in the $1,500 Seven-Card Stud, the $10,000 World Championship Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo and the $2,500 Seven-Card Razz. In 2010, Lisandro won his fifth piece of hardware at WSOP Europe by taking home the title in the 5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha.

Glazier boasts live tournament earnings of more than $950,000 in her career, and sits 19th on the Australian all-time money list. She is the highest woman on that list and one of the most recognizable faces on the Australian poker scene. Last summer, she finished runner-up in the WSOP's $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $458,996.

On Friday, Phil Ivey announced his Team Americas for the competiton, and Hachem followed up on Monday via Twitter. Hachem still has two more slots to fill, but it's rumored that he is waiting for those two players to physically arrive in Melbourne before he makes the announcement. Sam Trickett, captain of Team Europe, has yet to announce any picks.
