*Reflects a three-handed deal

It took less than an hour for the eight-handed final table to lose its first player. That dubious honor went to Fernando Curto Gonzalez. After opening to 100,000 from the cutoff, Gonzalez saw Geilich three-bet to 225,000. Gonzalezs response was to move in for 950,000 and Geilich instantly called with A?A?.Gonzalez turned over 6?6?, and when the board ran out 8?8?Q?10?5?, it was game over for Gonzalez.

Fifty minutes later, Jorge Eguaras busted in seventh place. There was three-way action to the 6?5?2? flop, Geilich bet 160,000 and was called by both Eguaras and Pablo Rojas. Geilich checked the 4? turn and Rojas bet 200,000. Eguaras then moved all in for 1,005,000. Rojas snap-called and showed Ad3d] for a straight; Eguaras showed 9?8? for a gutshot straight draw. The river bricked out and Rojas claimed his foes stack.

Eguaras seat hadnt had time to go cold by the time Jonatan Soderstrom busted out in sixth place. Soderstrom decided to move all in from under the gun for 555,000 chips with K?8? and Polands Kamil Hrabia called from the next seat with A?9?. The A?J?J? flop left Soderstrom drawing thin, but the 3? on the turn gave him a sweat to a flush. The 10? on the river was not one of his outs, and Soderstroms tournament ended abruptly.

The eliminations kept coming quickly with the exit of Lucas Blanco in fifth place. A min-raise to 120,000 from Blanco saw Geilich call in position. The Q?10?4? flop was met with a 130,000 continuation bet from Blanco and a call from Geilich. The 5? sparked some serious action. First, Blanco bet 250,000, then Geilich made it 500,000 and then called immediately when Blanco moved all in for 1,400,000. Blanco flipped over A?Q? but was drawing dead to the pocket fives of Geilich, giving him a set.

Hrabia claimed another scalp shortly after Blancos exit when he busted Asier Crespo. Looking down at A?Q? and seeing his stack dwindling, Crespo open-shoved from the button. Unfortunately for Crespo, Hrabia had been dealt pocket queens and made an easy call. The ladies held as the board ran out J?8?5?10?7?.

The final three players took some time out to discuss a deal, but initial talks broke down. They opened negotiations a short while later and agreed that Geilich would lock up 116,000 while Rojas and Hrabia secured paydays of 98,000 and 95,000, respectively. One of them would also win the 14,000 that was set aside for the eventual champion.

Three handed played last over 90 minutes and ended when Hrabia crashed out. Rojas min-raised to 200,000, Hrabia three-bet all in for 1,500,000 and Rojas made the call. Hrabia had made his move with K?Q? and was in terrible shape against the A?A? of Rojas. Hrabia caught a king on the flop, yet could not find any additional outs and his exited in third place.

Going into the one-on-one battle, Geilich held a three-to-one chip lead over his opponent and, the way Geilich had been running, victory was never in doubt. On the final hand, Geilich open to 400,000 and then called Rojas' shove. Geilich turned over pocket nines and was flipping against Q?J? of Rojas. The K?10?10? flop gave Rojas outs to the straight, but they failed to arrive as the turn and river were the 3? and 8?, respectively. With that Geilich secured the UKIPT Marbella Main Event title.
