The WSOP Video Roundup: Week 1

2 min read

Time flies during the World Series of Poker, and with all the heart-pounding action, sometimes it's easy to miss a few things. Maybe you were busy playing heads-up for seven hours to win a bracelet. Maybe you were busy brushing up on our all-new poker strategy section. Or Maybe you were just too busy clicking through pages on pages of live reporting. Well, whatever your excuse is for not watching all of our videos, we forgive you and present you with the top five videos from week one of the WSOP.

Team PokerNews is typically on the other side of the camera, but this year senior writer Chad Holloway changed that by winning his first WSOP bracelet, taking down Event #1. Luckily, not many other events had begun yet, and the majority of the poker media was on hand to celebrate Holloway's win. Sarah Grant had the pleasure of interviewing a guy who is typically doing the interviewing himself.

Open-Face Chinese Poker is all the rage these days. Kristy Arnett sat down with Jason Mercier in his trailer to get in on the action.

Have you ever wondered how these poker pros stay fresh for six weeks during the WSOP? Well, Daniel Negreanu gives us his secret: A giant RV to chill in during breaks. And a juicer?

All these videos have you getting amped to play yourself. We get it. Here are some tips from Adam Levy, who gives you the lowdown on playing low buy-in tournaments at the WSOP.

Last year we introduced a video series called The Straddle. It captures some of the lighter moments from the WSOP. Oh, and this year we feature The Miami Boss! You'll have to watch to see what we mean.

Be sure to check PokerNews all weekend for new videos and more as we bring you all the action from the 2013 World Series of Poker
