World Poker Tour Reveals Second Half of Season XII Schedule
The World Poker Tour announced the remainder of its Season XII schedule on Monday. The record-setting season will close out next year with seven Main Tour stops and nine additional WPT? Regional and WPT? National events located around the globe.
Highlighting the remainder of Season XII will be two stops at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa. The 2014 schedule kicks off in Atlantic City in January with the televised WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open, and will conclude with the season-ending $15,400 WPT World Championship. That event was was recently moved from the Bellagio in Las Vegas and features a brand new price tag (down from $25,000). The Season XII WPT World Championship will take place from April 22 through 26.
The WPT will also host Main Events at three separate venues in Florida, plus two in California. In April heads to Hollywood, Fla. for the season��s penultimate event - the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown. Just like August��s massively successful Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open, next year's event will carry a $10 million guarantee on the championship event.
