On Friday, Nov. 22, Terry K. Watanabe and the Devoted to Youth Foundation will present the "Poker Festival", a special poker seminar, charity tournament and festival with Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso, who will be joined by Dee Dozier and PokerNews' very own Kristy Arnett.

The event, presented by Help and Learn Events, will host a poker seminar to take place beginning at 7 p.m. PT. Following the seminar, there will be a special tournament held where participants can put their new poker knowledge to the test. After that, it's party time as all guests are invited to head to the nightclub for festivities.

The event will take place at the Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club, and the cost is $249 for the poker seminar and tournament training event, then $25 for the nightclub portion. According to the Help and Learn Events website, food and beverages will be free, and a portion of the proceeds will go to several charitable organizations, including the American Red Cross Philippines Typhoon Disaster, Jackson Limousine Annual Turkey Dinner Giveaway, Devoted to Youth Foundation, Rescue Me Incorporated, and Lucy Pet Foundation, .

"For the past few years working in the poker industry, I've gotten to cover lots of stories about incredible players giving back to the community by donating their time and effort," explained Arnett. "I'm really excited for the opportunity to do the same, and I am looking forward to helping these organizations to give back."

Additionally, live music will be provided by DJ Lady Splash and Havoc, there will be a live Brazilian capoeira show, and a special performance by Gibi Dos Santos.
