Final table chip leader Kampanatsanyakorn came into Day 3 as the second biggest stack in the room and was able to ride that rush all of the way to the final six. Close on his heels sits Masato Yokosawa, who is the only other player above 900,000 in chips.

The money bubbled burst when Gu Guan Qun was eliminated in 22nd place. On his final hand, Qun opened to 20,000 at 3,000/6,000 blinds with a 1,000 ante. Final tablist Chris Park made it 55,000 from the cutoff and action folded back to Qun who four-bet all in for 120,000. Park called with the A?10? and was behind Qun's K?K?. Park found a dream flop of 10?8?2?, giving him a pair and four to a diamond flush. He did not need diamonds, though, after the A? struck the turn and gave him the lead with top two pair. The 9? finished off the board and Qun became the bubble boy.

Kampanatsanyakorn scored a massive double elimination halfway through the day, which allowed him to soar to the top of the chip counts. According to the WPT live updates, Jason Park raised to 17,000 from under the gun at 4,000/8,000/1,000. Kampanatsanyakorn three-bet to 35,000 from middle position and action folded to Wang Kun who cold four-bet to 85,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Park five-bet to 182,000. Kampanatsanyakorn six-bet shipped all in and Kun went into the tank before calling for his tournament life. Park took quite some time but eventually called as well.

Park: K?K?
Kun: Q?Q?

Kampanatsanyakorn was in a position of absolute domination with his pocket aces and secured the double knockout after a run out of 9?7?5?10?8?.

Asaka Matsunaga became the official final table bubble boy on the 33rd hand of seven-handed play. On his final hand, the blinds were 8,000/16,000/2,000. Matsunaga raised to 35,000 from under the gun and found a three-bet to 80,000 from Jae Kyung Sim in the hijack. Matsunaga four-bet shoved for 221,00 and Sim called. The two were racing, as Matsunaga looked to improve with his A?Q? against Sim's 9?9?. The board fell 5?2?2?8?4? and just like that the final table was set.

The final table will commence on Thursday at 2 p.m. local time, so be sure to check into PokerNews at the end of the day for a full recap of the day's events.
