Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Selbst React to Amaya Gaming's Purchase of PokerStars
On Thursday, Montreal-based company Amaya Gaming spent $4.9 billion to acquire the assets of the Rational Group, owner of online poker giants PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. The historic acquisition is expected to expedite the entry of PokerStars and FTP into the United States, where the two poker rooms have been entangled in regulatory and legal difficulties for more than three years.
