DraftKings Late Swap Feature Can Be a Game Changer

2 min read

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) have taken the community by storm, and there's no better time than now to get involved in all of the action. One of the most exciting happening in the world is the Fantasy Football $2.5 Million King of the Beach, hosted by DraftKings at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort on Dec. 4-8, 2014. Fifty players will be at the contest vying for a chance to claim the top prize of $1 million, and you could very well be one of them.

That said, it's going to take a little bit of work to get yourself into the show, and PokerNews has teamed up with DraftKings to give you some highly-valuable tips on how to work your chances to win an entry to the amazing contest.

In the video below, DraftKings pro Drew Dinkmeyer shares his thought process as he completes his team on Nov. 3 for a chance to win a seat to the DraftKings King of the Beach event. Dinkmeyer walks us through the strategy of making a late swap to your lineup to give your team the best chance to win.

The late swap is one of the most underappreciated components of DraftKings game strategy and should be taken into account wherever necessary. The feature gives drafters the ability to remove anyone from your lineup whose game has not yet started, replacing him with any other eligible player who also hasnt started playing. Dinkmeyer takes it one step further by exposing how he reverse engineers what he believes his closest opponent might be doing.

Check out the video with Dinkmeyer below, and hopefully we'll see you at Atlantis!
