The New Jersey Online Poker Briefing: "connisaurusrex" and "jingboslice" Win Big

It's been a big week for New Jersey's online poker players. While the Winter Poker Classic on WSOP.com NJ was wrapping up with a $25,000 guaranteed Main Event, the Garden State Super Series (GSSS) II on partypoker NJ and BorgataPoker.com kicked off with the first of 69 tournaments.

Meanwhile, starting on Monday, Jan. 12, WSOP.com NJ and 888poker NJ have combined forces to share a handful of tournaments, including next Sunday's $10,000 and $25,000 guaranteed tournaments.

New Jersey's biggest winner over the weekend was "connisaurusrex" who managed to top a field of 358 entrants in the GSSS #1 High - $75,000 GTD NLH 6Max on partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com for $13,515. "Juaari" finished as the runner-up in the tournament, bringing home $9,577.50 for his efforts.

Poker player "jingboslice" was the big winner on WSOP.com NJ when he outlasted a field of 92 entrants to win the $25,000 GTD [R&A] Winter Poker Classic Main Event - Ring Event for $11,655. Daniel "juice" Buzgon took second place in this tournament for $7,770, adding to his $2.2 million-plus in online poker tournament earnings, according to PocketFives.com.

The big winner on 888poker NJ over the weekend was "Confluence", who topped a field of 55 entrants in The Big Sunday for $3,052.50.
