Don't Miss Out on the Hollywood Poker Open Toledo from Feb. 5-16
Season 3 of the Hollywood Poker Open (HPO) recently completed its stop at the Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg. That Main Event attracted a record-setting HPO field of 207 players and saw Jesse McEuen emerge victorious to capture the $49,676 first-place prize, and from Feb. 5-16 the HPO looks to build on that success at the Hollywood Casino in Toledo, Ohio.
The HPO Toledo consists of a dozen ��featured events�� that will culminate with the $1,115 HPO Regional Main Event on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 12:15 p.m. The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be on hand to capture all the action from that event.
"The 12-day HPO Toledo series will be a great event and provide several great tournament options for players. So what can players expect from the HPO Toledo? For one, they'll get the chance to play against 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event champ Chris Moneymaker, who is confirmed to be in attendance. There will also be seat giveaways to season-ending championship at the M Resort Casino Spa in Las Vegas. Last season, the HPO sent more than 200 promotional winners to the Championship Event, and that's the plan for Season 3.
"We plan to not only give away hundreds of seats to the Championship again, but we will also implement similar seat winner promotions to the Regional tournament series as well," said HPO Tournament Director Bill Bruce. "These HPO tournament fields are such a great mix of traveling poker professionals and local promotion winners which makes the tournaments really attractive to all levels of poker players."
