New Jersey's "smaulerg" was this week's biggest winner in the Garden State, outlasting the 141-player field in the WSOP.com/888poker NJ Sunday $40,000 Guarantee to win $10,800. The runner-up in this tournament was Baruch "gamblegamble" Krieger, who won $6,300 for his efforts.
"Smaulerg" is no stranger to winning big online tournaments. This NJ poker player is better known as "Mergulas" on PocketFives.com where he is currently in first place out of 711 players in the New Jersey Rankings. He is also currently sitting on top of thepokerdb.com 2015 National Leaderboard, which ranks players based on play from all regulated sites in New Jersey and Nevada.
Frank "fnasty97" Molinari also had a huge day winning an even $10,000 after finishing on top of the 261-player field in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com $50,000 Guarantee. "Nawlins" was the runner-up in this tournament, winning $6,585.
Meanwhile, on 888poker NJ, it was "OnTheRun" beating out the 39-player field in the Big Sunday to win $3,500 with Bob "SLHalper13" Taylor taking second place in this tournament for $2,200.
