New Jersey's "Moose4Life" was this week's biggest winner in the Garden State, scoring a cool $10,000 after outlasting a field of 268 players in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com $50,000 Guarantee. Michael "JohnnyDrama" Haberman Jr grabbed second place in this tournament for $6,585, while it was "knumbnuts4" taking home $4,750 for finishing in third place.
In the WSOP.com/888poker NJ Sunday $30,000 Guarantee, it was "johnnygolf78" who navigated his way to the top of a 174-player field to win $8,691, the weekend's second biggest prize in the Garden State. Daniel "centrfieldr" Lupo snagged $5,069 for finishing in second place, while Maureen "HotRedMomma" Ludwig banked $2,830 for finishing in third.
Meanwhile for the first time in recent memory, The Big Sunday on 888poker NJ met its guarantee with 58 players generating a $10,730 prize pool. Joshua "jerseyjosh" Baer won this tournament for $3,219, marking the second time he grabbed the top prize in this tournament. Baer's previous victory in this tournament came on Aug. 24, 2014, when he won $3,200.
