According to HighStakesDB, it started when the Russian won $46,800 in an hour at a $400/$800 8-game table, and he followed that up by winning the rest at the $1,000/$2,000 2-7 tripe draw tables against the likes of "JesusLebtNOT," Jean-Robert "Jaqueline" Bellande, and Sebastian "Seb86" Sabic, just to name a few.
Meanwhile, in the PLO game, "BROCKLESNARR" did quite well and finished the day $37,400 in the black. He also managed to take down a couple big pots.
Hand #1: In a heads-up match at a $50/$100 PLO table, "BROCKLESNARR" ($32,974.55) raised to $300 from the button and "mammasaidtko" ($17,114.90) three-bet to $900. "BROCKLESNARR" made the call and then called a bet of $1,060.82 on the 5?J?10? flop. When the Q? appeared on the turn, "mammasaidtko" bet $3,174.90, "BROCKLESNARR" called, and the 6? completed the board on the river. "mammasaidtko" slowed down with a check, but called when "BROCKLESNARR" bet $6,600. "BROCKLESNARR" tabled the A?J?9?2? for the nuts, and he was pushed the $23,471.44 pot after "mammasaidtko" mucked his cards.
Hand #2: In the same game, "mammasaidtko" ($63,491.92) opened for $300, "BROCKLESNARR" ($11,075.10) called, and the flop came down 4?2?6?. How Jean-Robert "Jaqueline" Bellande Got His Money
As for this week's biggest winner, Jean-Robert "Jaqueline" Bellande kicked things off by finishing as Tuesday's biggest winner after banking $120,600, most of which came off a six-max $1,000/$2,000 2-7 triple draw table. It was there he played for three hours against some stiff competition that included Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby, and Sebastian "taktloss47" Ruthenberg, just to name a few. In that match, Bellande managed to win $110,900 in just 248 hands.
Despite losing $35,000 earlier in the day at the 8-game tables, Bellande also booked wins of $15,000 in another 2-7 triple draw game and $35,000 at the $1,000/$2,000 fixed-limit Omaha hi/lo (FLO8)tables.
It was a good day for the former Survivor contestant, and it got even better on Wednesday when he once again finished as the day's biggest winner, this time winning $219,500 playing 2-7 triple draw and FLO8. He began playing the latter game winning $98,300 in just over three hours, most of which came off Blom.
Bellande then won $63,800 in 120 hands of $1,000/$2,000 2-7 triple draw against a slew of tough players before taking a three hour break, returning to the FLO8 tables, and losing $26,000 back in just 11 hands. For those wondering, Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov was the beneficiary.
By the end of the nigh, Bellande had won another $83,800 primarily off Elior "Crazy Elior" Sion.
Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov Wins Biggest Pot of August Thus Far
Speaking of Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov, the Russian finished as Thursday's biggest winner after profiting $108,300 from 374 hands of 2-7 triple draw, FLO8, and pot-limit Omaha.
Of that, $97,700 came off Phil "RaiseOnce" Ivey and Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby at the 2-7 triple draw tables, while he won an additional $34,000 at the $1,000/$2,000 FLO8 tables. Unfortunately for Kuznetsov, he ended up giving back $20,000 playing PLO, but not before winning what is thus far the biggest pot of the month.
It happened in a heads-up match at a $200/$400 PLO table against David "Deldar182" Eldar. It began when Kuznetsov ($32,898.05) raised to $1,200 and then called a three-bet to $3,600 by Eldar ($40,339.03), which brought about a flop of 7?4?3?. Eldar check-called a bet of $4,200, and then check-called one of $15,598 on the Q? turn.
When the 10? completed the board on the river, Eldar checked for a third time but still called when Kuznetsov moved all in for his last $9,500.05, which created a pot worth $65,796.10. Kuznetsov tabled the 6?5?5?K? for the flopped nuts, and it was good as Eldar sent his cards to the muck.
