The WPT National Rozadov Main Event Kicks Off Aug. 7 Featuring a �200,000 GTD
Poker players around Europe are flocking to the King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic for the latest stop on the World Poker Tour National (WPTN) schedule. The poker festival is taking place now through August 10 with a combined �350,000 in guaranteed prize pools, though it's the Main Event which kicks off tomorrow, August 7, that is drawing the most attention.
The partypoker.net WPT National Rozvadov Main Event alone features a generous �200,000 guaranteed prize pool for a �1,000 + �100 buy-in. Additionally, the tournament has a great structure with two opening days on August 7 and 8, before surviving players continue onto Day 2 on Sunday, August 9 and onward to Day 3 on Monday, August 10.
Players in the Main Event will have plenty of time to build up their stacks as event starts players with 30,000 in chips and offers 45-minute blind levels on the opening day. Days 2 and 3 feature even deeper structures with 60-minute blind levels.
The WPT has a strong history in Rozvadov. Three years ago, the King��s Casino Rozvadov hosted the WPT Bohemia �C German Open, where the �1.650 Main Event attracted 238 entrants generating a �349,503 prize pool. Germany's Mike Brandau earned the title in that event, taking home �80,000 for his efforts.
