It was another big weekend for online poker players in New Jersey, with prize pools with just about every major tournament growing from last week.
"Donate_here" was this weekend's biggest online tournament winner in the Garden State, outlasting a field of 331 entrants in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com $50,000 Guarantee to bank $12,386. The runner-up in that tournament was "Jamdizzi777", who cashed for $8,553.
Other notable players to appear on the final table in this tournament included Jesse "NoXcape" Elliot grabbing fourth place for $5,031 and Edwin "GiantGenius" Roman finishing in eighth place for $2,317.
As is usually the case, the second biggest winner in New Jersey over the weekend came in the WSOP.com/888poker NJ Sunday $30,000 Guarantee when "CeeLos86" navigated through a field of 183 players to take first place for $9,241. Finishing just behind him in second place was "DodgeTheRam", collecting $5,390 for his efforts.
Also on the final table in this tournament were James "nigock" Nadolski finishing in fourth place for $2,396 and Josh "jerseyjosh" Baer banking $821 for his eighth-place finish.
Two other players to have big weekends outside of the two biggest tournaments were Michael "JohnnyDrama" Haberman Jr. and Shane "MOU5E" Parker. The duo finished in the top two spots in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com Daily $10K on Saturday to collect $3,248 and $2,157, respectively.
Also on Saturday, Parker under the screenname "mouse" won the WSOP.com/888poker NJ $10,000 GTD Nightly for $2,750, while Haberman Jr. under the screenname "LeftSid3" finished in eighth place for $250.
