Europe's largest poker room, King's Casino Czech Republic, and the world's second largest real-money online poker site, 888poker, announced they are joining forces in a year-long partnership surrounding some of the bigger poker festivals held at the casino.

King's Casino attracts players from around Europe and the world thanks to the many poker festivals it features all year long, including the World Series of Poker Circuit, the World Poker Tour, the German Championship of Poker, and the Deutsche Poker Tour (DPT).

While the WSOP Circuit and WPT typically attract poker players from many nations, the GCOP and DPT are attractive to German players since options for these players are limited in their home country and King's Casino is located just minutes away from the German border. However, due to the 100,000 and 200,000 guarantees that the GCOP and DPT offer, players in increasing numbers are attracted to these popular poker festivals from all around Europe to compete for big money and enjoy the atmosphere of the Czech Republic countryside.

The partnership with 888poker will focus on these two poker series which run four times a year with the online poker room hosting satellites and sub-satellites starting at just $0.01. Additionally, a number of 888Live events will be hosted at the casino with dates to be announced within the next few months.

The DPT returns to King's Casino from April 28 to May 2. The poker festival is highlighted by the 100,000 Guaranteed DPT Main Event, where players have a chance for a huge payday for a very reasonable 159 buy-in. As part of the partnership, 888poker will be hosting $30 satellites where players can win a package, which includes the tournament buy-in as well as hotel accommodations.

Shortly afterwards, 888poker will be hosting $160 satellites to the summer edition of the GCOP which takes place at King's Casino from June 2-6.

King's Casino is absolutely thrilled about the new partnership with 888poker. King's Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik is not only proud of the fact that his casino hosts the most poker games in Europe and one of the best player experiences, but also is excited by upcoming plans to expand its casino and its new partnership with 888poker.

"We have more tournaments and cash games than anywhere else in Europe," Tsoukernik shared with 888poker Magazine. "We are Europe's biggest card room and pride ourselves on the strength of our personal service to customers and fantastic cuisine. We have big plans to expand the casino even further and are currently building a new hotel in Rozvadov. We are also looking forward to our new partnership with 888poker."

PokerNews also loves King's Casino, hosting its past two PokerNews Cup poker festivals at the casino. The last PokerNews Cup took place in November 2015 where for just a 250 buy-in players were guaranteed to compete for a big 200,000 prize pool. It was Germany's Daniel Can's day to shine as he finished on top of the 667-entrant field to walk away with 17,105 and the trophy.

The next PokerNews Cup will also take place later in the year with dates to be announced shortly.
