The top 49 places made the money in the event, and it was Kristen Kober falling short of a cash in 50th place. According to event reports, Brent Roberts opened with a raise from early position before Kober moved all in for a tiny bit more out of the big blind. Roberts made the cheap call with the K?9? and was up against the K?5? for Kober. The 10?7?4?J?Q? run out gave Roberts a straight and the win, busting Kober out on the bubble.

Not only did the work of Roberts put everyone in the money, but it moved Roberts into first place in the WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year race. Entering the event, Roberts was tied for first with Salomon Ponte and the cash pushed him one step ahead. From there, Roberts went on to take 21st place for $5,151.

Another notable face to go deep in the event was Maurice Hawkins, continuing the blazing hot streak he's been on lately following back-to-back World Series of Poker Circuit main event triumphs. In this WPTDeepStacks Jacksonville event, Hawkins rode his way to an 18th-plc finish worth $6,181 and busted to Mizrachi.

The tough competition at the final table wasn't just Mizrachi, Miles, and Tuthill, as Zdanovskiy had to face Brian Hawkins, Jonathan Hilton, and defending WPTDeepStacks Jacksonville champion George Wolfe as well.

Wolfe busted first, finishing in ninth place for $10,678. Hilton followed in eighth, and then it was Mizrachi's turn to go in seventh. He was all in preflop with the K?10? against the A?J? for Miles, but couldn't come from behind and had to settle for a $16,973 payday.

Hawkins, Austin Peck, and Tuthill followed in places six through four, respectively, and then Miles ran out of gas in third place, taking home $48,074. Miles busted to Corey Major, who began the final table with the chip lead, and Major would also begin heads-up play with the lead, taking 6.385 million in chips up against Zdanovskiy's 3.275 million.

It was reported that Zdanovskiy took the lead after just a few hands, and he never looked back from there. On the final clash, Zdanovskiy and Major were all in on the A?Q?6? flop. Zdanovskiy had the A?J?, and Major had the Q?3?. The 6? on the turn and the K? on the river secured Zdanovskiy with the win and landed him in first place.

For Major, he earned $74,777 for a second-place finish after entering the event with less than $8,000 in career live tournament earnings, according to Hendon Mob.

Zdanovskiy scooped up the first-place trophy and top prize of $106,780, more than doubling the career live tournament earnings of $48,597 he had entering this event, according to Hendon Mob.
