Sunday was a huge day for Yong Kwon, who appeared on three final tables in tournaments with at least a $10,000 prize pool to win almost $14,000.
Kwon's biggest score came on PokerStars NJ, where under the screenname "iFoldN0T" he shipped the Sunday High Roller [6-Max], $15,000 Gtd for $9,043. Also on PokerStars NJ, he took sixth place in the Sunday Special, $50,000 Gtd for $2,250 and added to his big day with a second place performance on partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com under the screenname "LuckySpewy" in the Sunday Seconds $10K Gtd to bank $2,278.
Meanwhile, "djroomba" racked up the single biggest score at New Jersey regulated online poker rooms over the weekend with a victory in the WSOP NJ/888poker NJ $50,000 Ultimate Warrior for $13,500. Also scoring big in this tournament were Justin "byeoz" Chmielarz taking second place for $7,875 and Kevin "SofcknsicKKK" Campbell snagging third place for $4,500.
New Jersey's "JPStones" took down the other five-digit score this weekend by finishing on top of a 226-entrant field to win the Sunday Special, $50,000 Gtd for $10,225. Jesse "ROU$EY" Elliot secured third place in this tournament for $5,650, while Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara grabbed eighth place for $1,250.
Jason "RiverMan" Lawhun was the big winner over on partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com with a win in the Sunday $40k Championship Bonus for $8,320. Other notable players on the final table included Brian "pure_reason" Wood (4th - $3,411), Pierre "P-aire_146" Deissler (7th - $2,122), and Ted "roystalin" Ely (8th - $1,706).
Joshua "YogaGrandma" Berardi and Dominick "kickdeej02" Lopresti agreed to a heads-up deal in the PokerStars NJ Sunday Warm-Up, $10,000 Gtd awarding them $1,873 and $2,095 respectfully. Also with wins on Sunday were Daniel "leinad" Buzgon (partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com Daily $10K - $2,850) and Daniel "centrfieldr" Lupo (WSOP NJ/888poker NJ $10,000 Fierce Warrior - $4,153).
