RunGood "End of Summer" Series Continues With Hard Rock Tulsa Stop
The "End of Summer" series, the latest effort from the RunGood Poker Series, will continue with its second stop, going to familiar territory at Hard Rock Tulsa starting early next week with a variety of events on tap.
Highlighting the schedule is, of course, the $675 Main Event, which carries the usual $100,000 guarantee that's become a staple for the series. That gets underway Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. with the first of three starting flights two are scheduled for the following day with Day 2 on Sunday. A detailed breakdown of the Main Event with structure information can be found here.
Past RunGood Hard Rock Tulsa champions include RunGood Pro Ross Bybee, Troy Repp, and Jeri Sieber, who took down the most recent stop there on Mother's Day of this year, chopping with RunGood Pro Justin Gardenhire for more than $40,000.
Lead-ups to the Main Event include a $180 Deepstack with a $25,000 guarantee starting Wednesday, a $10,000 guaranteed pot-limit Omaha tournament starting Thursday and the opening event, the special $135 RunGood Pro Bounty. That event features a number of special prizes available to players who knock out selected RunGood Pros and special guests. Prizes range from RunGood apparel to $1,000 cash.
Additionally, satellites and cash games - often including PLO - will be running throughout the series.
The poker is only part of the attraction at any RunGood event, however. In addition to hosting plenty of good times, RunGood President and Founder Tana Karn has organized a number of drawings for prizes, including a big-screen TV and YETI coolers, at the end of registration for various events.
Hotel rooms are available starting at $89 by using the promo code "RunGoodSept2016." For more information about RunGood Hard Rock Tulsa and other upcoming events, check out RunGoodPokerSeries.com.
