2017 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP)

In the early hours of morning May 9, American poker refugee Dylan "ImaLucSac" Linde bagged his second SCOOP title in his poker career after outlasting a field of 926 entrants to ship the SCOOP-06-H: $1,050 NL Hold'em [6-Max], $500K Gtd at PokerStars for $126,852 as part of a three-way deal.

Linde's first SCOOP victory came nearly four years ago, when he shipped the SCOOP-24-H: $1,050 Mixed NL Hold'em / PL Omaha, $200K Gtd in 2013 for $70,047.

According to the PokerStars Blog, the final table bubble lasted nearly 2 1/2 hours until Sweden's "Sasuke234" eliminated Netherland's "Dhr.Awesome" after his pocket eights held against his opponent's ace-three.

Linde entered the final table in the middle of the pack, in third place in chips, while American poker refugee Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo held the lead after doubling up twice during the final table bubble.

Seven hands into the final table, Australia's Stevan "random_chu" Chew was eliminated in sixth place for $27,780 after his ace-jack was unable to catch up to the ace-queen held by Canada's Chris "Apotheosis92" Kruk.

A few hands later, Bonomo was eliminated in fifth place for $43,985 after the board didn't help his ace-eight suited against Linde's ace-jack.

Linde then eliminated Sweden's Robin "robinho" Ylitalo in fourth place for $62,505 after getting it all in preflop with pocket eights against his opponent's ace-queen and spiking a set on the flop with an eight appearing.

The first attempt at a deal when play was three-handed failed. However, after the trio played for 20 more minutes, stacks were reasonably close and another deal was discussed. After ICM figures were presented, Kruk wanted a little bit more. The pot was sweetened with Linde giving up $734 and "Sasuke234" parting with $2. The title and $10,000 were left for the winner.

About an hour later, Kruk was eliminated in third place to collect the $119,001 agreed upon in the deal when his king-nine was unable to improve against Linde's ace-queen.

Linde entered heads-up play with a more than 2:1 advantage over his opponent. Quickly into the heads-up battle, his lead extended to 6:1 advantage when he shoved eight-seven suited and "Sasuke234" called with king-queen suited. Linde walked away with $126,852 and the title after the board gave him a flush, while "Sasuke234" banked the $119,454 that was agreed upon as part of the three-way deal.
