It seems only yesterday that the first event of the 2017 World Series of Poker was shuffling up and dealing, but there have been almost 50 champions crowned.

Several 888poker ambassadors are currently in Las Vegas on a quest for winning a bracelet. How are the pros performing in "Sin City?" Let's have a look.

Chris Moorman

The United Kingdoms Chris Moorman hit his first 2017 WSOP cash on Jun. 2 when he finished in 285th place in the $565 No Limit Holdem C The Colossus III and banked $4,418. A week later, Moorman reached the money in the $1,500 No Limit Holdem Millionaire Maker, falling in 834th place for a $2,659 score.

Having come so agonisingly close to winning a WSOP bracelet on more than one occasion, Moorman finally got the proverbial monkey off his back when he triumphed in the $3,000 No Limit Holdem 6-Handed event to get his hands on the most sought after piece of poker jewellery and $498,682 in cash.

The popular Brit has since finished 66th in the $1,500 No Limit Holdem Shootout for $4,837 and 18th in the $5,000 No Limit Holdem for an additional $17,196.

Dominik Nitsche

German pro Dominik Nitsche already has a trio of WSOP bracelets to his name but he is still hungry for more. Nitsche came close to adding to his collection of bling in the $3,000 No Limit Holdem Shootout event, navigating his way to a 30th-place finish worth $6,407.

It has been a quiet series so far for Nitsche, but a player of his quality is never away from the payout places for too long.

Bruno Politano

Brazilian pro Bruno Foster Politano has, at time of writing, five cashes at the 2017 WSOP and one near miss when it comes to reaching a final table in Las Vegas.

Like fellow ambassador Moorman, Politano first cashed in the $565 No Limit Holdem C The Colossus III where he fell in 239th place for $4,418. Politano then busted in 53rd place in the $1,500 No Limit Holdem 6-handed event for a $5,648 score, before getting his hands on his first five-figure prize of the series when he collected $10,129 for finishing 10th in the $1,000 Pot Limit Omaha event.

Politano then reached the money places of the $1,000 No Limit Holdem Super Turbo Bounty and walked away with $3,215 for his 51st place finish, and more recently the Brazilian cashed in 900th place in the $1,500 No Limit Holdem Monster Stack for a $2,359 addition to his bankroll.

With some massive events on the horizon, including the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-Handed High Roller, the $3,000 No Limit Holdem, the $1,111 Little One for One Drop and, of course, the $10,000 No Limit Holdem Main Event World Championship, there is ample opportunity for the 888poker ambassadors to get their name on the scoresheet and secure more poker gold.
