888poker LIVE Bucharest Main Event Starts March 2
The 888poker LIVE Bucharest festival kicked off today, Feb. 28, with the first of nine value-packed tournaments. Despite costing only �230 to enter, the Opening Event guarantees at least �50,000 will be won.

In addition to the top prize money, the winner of the Main Event will also receive a WSOP Vegas Crazy 888s package valued at $2,700, while the champion of the Ladies Event gets her hands on an 888poker LIVE Barcelona package that is worth $1,880.
Gentlemen are permitted to play in the Ladies Event. They will, however, be hit in the pocket for doing so because the buy-in for males is �4,500 instead of the standard �60 paid by female poker players.
Players in the Main Event and High Roller tournament will play with a 30-second shot clock being introduced after a successful test at the 888poker LIVE London Kickoff. Each player in the Main Event and High Roller will have 30-seconds to act, although it is possible to use an extended time chip twice per day should they face a particularly tough decision.
