Poker Players Go Wild For $1.6 Billion Mega Millions Jackpot
Poker players are always chasing the big win while playing in tournaments or cash games. Most players will never get that life-changing result but the chance of winning millions of dollars on one day will always gain their attention. Players are also known for their gambling spirit, shown once again during the Mega Millions Lottery with a $1.6 billion jackpot. On Wednesday, the jackpot was won in South Carolina.
Four days ago, Josh Arieh got our attention when he took a photo of his ticket. He published it after he read an article where Floyd Mayweather said he spent $2,000 on lottery tickets. It looks like Arieh spent a little more than $2,000...
What a nit. Hey @FloydMayweather I thought u had some gamble https://t.co/3GLzasJOkN

And it got even crazier on Tuesday night, when he posted this tweet:
Welp...here goes nothing... me and some degenerates decided to go all in #whynotme #itsalot https://t.co/9WzhOQ53zF

But Arieh wasn't the only player with lots of tickets. Dan O'Brien posted his pile of tickets on Instagram:
And former World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up Jay Farber, who already had one amazing life-changing cash, went for it all:
Alice from the Haslet House Poker also hoped for retirement:
But unfortunately for the players, the jackpot was won by a ticket bought in South Carolina this morning and none of the above became a billionaire today. Well, maybe next time?
