European Poker Series Brings More Than �800,000 in Guarantees to King's Casino on April 25 to May 6
The European Poker Series (EPS) is about to bring 12 days of fantastic poker action to King's Resort, located on the German border in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, on April 25 to May 6. The event boasts more than �800,000 in guaranteed prize pools and five WSOP Europe �10,350 Main Event seats.
The festival kicks off with the EPS �150 Warm-up featuring a �110,450 guarantee on April 25-28. The tournament provides players plenty of chances to bag a big stack with 50,000 in starting chips and unlimited re-entries during each of the six opening flights on April 25-28.
The first four opening flights boast 30-minute blind levels with the final two moving along twice as fast with 15-minute blind levels. Players finding a bag will compete for one final day with 40-minute blind levels on April 28 until a winner is crowned.
The highlight of the festival is the EPS �550 Main Event on May 1-6 with a huge �441,400 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament features five opening flights on May 1-4 with players starting with a massive stack of 100,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 40-minutes.
Players can re-enter an unlimited amount of times up until the late-registration period ends at the end of Level 16, which coincides with the completion of the second blind level on Day 2 on May 5. After late registration closes, blinds increase to 60-minutes in length. Players surviving the penultimate day will come back on May 6 for one final day of action.
The schedule also features many satellites starting at just �25 and side events including the EPS Cup featuring a �120 buy-in and a �50,000 guarantee on April 28 to May 1 and the EPS High Roller featuring a �1,100 buy-in and a �40,000 guarantee on April 30 to May 1.
Of course, cash games will be running around the clock at Europe's largest poker room with stakes starting at �1/�3 no-limit hold'em and �2/�2 pot-limit Omaha.
