Earlier at the final table, Mexico-based grinder ROFLshove ran out of steam and busted in ninth place for $2,412 and was followed to the rail by GamadGADOL and mraink of Malta and Canada who walked away with prizes of $3,212 and $4,278.

Brazilian players dominated the latter stages of this weeks Sunday Million with five of them reaching the nine-handed final table and one of them being crowned champion.

Entry figures for this weeks $109 buy-in tournament were the lowest they have been since the switch from a $215 to $109 buy-in, probably because of the ongoing World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The field of 8,984 left an overlay of $101,600, much to the delight of the 1,610 players who cashed in the event.

Rafael LiroLa Lopes Monteiro was the first Brazilian to bust, his ninth-place netting him $8,367. KaikeSilva fell next and collected $11,530 for their eighth-place finish, while KKing James saw their tournament come to an abrupt end in fourth place for $41,575.

Third place and $57,290 went to igoretH10 of Brazil to leave Russias evgeny0777 and Matheus pimenta7 Pimenta to battle heads-up for the title and a six figure prize. It was the South American who came out of the battle unscathed to collect $108,784, leaving the Russian to scoop $78,944.

Over at partypoker, two big progressive knockout tournaments produced some large scores. The $2,100 buy-in Sunday High Roller Gladiator surpassed its $150,000 guarantee by $34,500 when 90 entries were processed.

Team partypokers Jeff JeffGross Gross navigated his way to the eight-handed final table but was the first player to be eliminated, his eighth place securing a $4,735 payday. Gross was joined on the rail soon after by Swedish legend Niklas Drulitooo Astedt whose seventh-place exit banked him a total of $8,094.

Finlands rdcrsnn finished in sixth place but won more than the fifth-place finisher morant3 of Ireland thanks to the bounty element. The Finn walked away with a $12,419 haul while the Irish player locked up a prize worth $9,997 in total.

Brazils Gustavo Quatroe3ehFLIP Mastelotto ran out of steam and crashed out in fourth place for $13,529 and when ojanOmaha of Sweden exited in third place for $15,079, a one-on-one encounter between SpiritDNA of the United Kingdom and Denmarks x_zola25 began.

SpritDNA came out on top to bank the top prize of $18,106 plus $28,284 worth of bounties for a combined prize worth $46,390, while x_zola25s total prize weighed in at $25,700.

The $320 buy-in edition of the Sunday Gladiator had a larger prize pool than its $2,100 buy-in bigger brother thanks to 625 players taking part and creating a pot with $192,500 in it.

Eighty players were paid, but nobody got their hands on more than the eventual champion, Swedens STORTjavlaGL. The Swedes first-place finish saw them win $13,544 from the main prize pool and $19,782 from the bounty prize pool. A large part of that substantial bounty payment stemmed from busting boulton1994 of the UK heads-up, which left the Brit to add $16,364 to their lifetime winnings.

A special mention has to go to the player who busted in sixth place. The UKs king_of_tainha netted $3,309 worth of bounties during the tournament and only the champion managed to secure more.

A field of 250 entries took part in this weekends $20,000 Sunday Challenge to ensure the guarantee was surpassed by $5,000. Macchow saw their tournament end abruptly in fourth for $2,187 with the UKs xxAYADxx being the penultimate elimination, their third place locking up a $2,937 prize. This set up a heads-up battle between Stappy21 of Denmark and TheColdCallr. The Dane couldnt quite get the job done and they fell at the final hurdle. Their untimely demise saw them have to make do with the $3,875 consolation prize, which left the champion to bank $5,375.

While on his way to winning the PokerStars Sunday 500, Andras Nemeth, unfortunately, burst the money bubble in the first of two Sunday Blade $5K events at Natural8. Nemeths demise meant the surviving five players were guaranteed $10,151 for their efforts.

This is the sum Olekonjole of Austria won when they lost all their chips to fall in fifth. The Austrian got some company on the rail in the shape of Mexicos godiswithme! who netted $16,127.

$25,621 went to third place finisher HectorHermano of Finland and despite there being a $28,100 difference between first and second place, no deal was struck. The lack of a deal meant PyramidOfSkulls was awarded $40,705 for their second place exit, while the UKs chan593, a regular in these high stakes games, locked up the $68,893 top prize.
