Twenty-Three Championship Events Confirmed at the

Poker players from around the world will descend on the Crown Melbourne from Jan. 4-24, 2020 for the latest edition of the Aussie Millions.

The 2020 Aussie Millions takes place over 21 consecutive days, during which time 23 Championship Events are scheduled. Almost 100 poker tables will be set up in the Crown complex. This year��s Aussie Millions saw more than 8,600 players from all corners of the planet compete for prizes that totaled more than AUD$30 million.

Williams: "January 2020 allows us the opportunity to continue to stamp ourselves as an elite Poker destination for players right across the globe."

Crown Melbourne��s Tournament Director Joel Williams said, ��The 2019 Aussie Millions saw records smashed right across the board. We watched the ��Main Event�� scale heights previously unseen; we re-established ourselves as an integral stop on the High Roller circuit; total prize pools exceeded AUD$30million, and overall participation broke through 8,600 - all served to produce arguably the most memorable series in Australian Poker History. January 2020 allows us the opportunity to continue to stamp ourselves as an elite Poker destination for players right across the Globe �C and we are more than ready to accept that challenge and remain committed to providing the best experience possible.��

Buy-ins for the 2020 Aussie Millions start at AUD$1,150 and increase up to AUD$100,000. A wide variety of poker variants will be played, including six-max, H.O.R.S.E., pot-limit Omaha and bounty tournaments.

The one Aussie Millions tournament everyone wants to win is the AUD$10,600 Main Event, a tournament that always attracts a stellar field.

Bryn Kenney is the reigning Aussie Millions Main Event champion having outlasted 821 opponents on his way to victory.
A three-handed deal brought the 2019 Aussie Millions Main Event to a conclusion. Kenney secured AUD$1,272,598, the winner��s trophy and an ANTON Jewelry bracelet for his victory, with fellow American Mike Del Vecchio finishing second for AUD$1,272,162 and Australia��s Andrew Hinrichsen banking AUD$1,097,739 for his third-place exit.
