Online poker��s richest single tournament, the $20 million guaranteed partypoker MILLIONS Online kicked off on December 1st with the first of four Day 1s. The 709 players who started the day with high hopes were reduced to a more manageable 115 after the completion of 18x 20-minute levels.

This year��s MILLIONS Online commands a $10,300 buy-in instead of the $5,200 from the 2018 edition, bringing it in line with the Main Event buy-ins of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS tour.

Two-thousand entries are needed in order for the $20 million guarantee to be hit and the Day 1A crowed generated $7,090,000 of that princely sum, leaving 1,291-entries needed across the next three flights.

Leading the way at the end of Day 1A was ��jiggidyigjohn�� who turned their one million starting stack into a tournament-leading 20,120,995. Not only do they have bragging rights about being the one to catch in this huge event, but their Day 1A performance could also see them walk away with an additional $1 million prize.

partypoker offered a seven-figure sweetener to the player who finished Day 1A as the chip leader and then goes on to win MILLIONS Online. While there is still a long way to go in this event, jiggidyigjohn now has a million more reasons to bring their A-game to the table when Day 2 commences on December 9th.

It was extremely tight at the top of chip counts at the end of Day 1A as ��Triple Sexy�� finished with 20,027,055 chips and almost bagged the chip lead for themselves. Nobody else managed to break through the 20 million barrier, although nobody in the top 10 bagged up less than 11,700,523 chips at the close of play.

Team partypoker Pro Anatoly ��NL_Profit�� Filatov continued his superb form in 2019 by accumulating 14,616,878 chips, enough for sixth-place in the overnight chip counts. Filatov will be keen for play to resume so he can make the most of his purple patch.

Two of Filatov partypoker teammates also punched their Day 2 tickets and are in contention for a seven-figure top prize. Isaac ��Ike_Haxton�� Haxton faired the best, finishing Day 1A with 7,918,252 chips. Finnish star Joni ��JJouhki�� Jouhkimainen returns to battle on Day 2 armed with 2,952,633 chips.

Day 1B of MILLIONS Online shuffles up and deal at 9:30 p.m. CET on Sunday 8th December and should see another bumper field created. The attendance figures will be boosted if the 13 members of Team partypoker who busted on Day 1A buy back in for $10,300.
