No Love for the 888poker Ambassadors

Five 888poker Ambassadors entered today's action but none were able to make the money. Sofia "sofialovgren" Lovgren and Daria Scarlett_D Feshchenko exited before late registration was closed while Dominik "888Dominik" Nitsche and Vivian "vivi.888." Saliba were out shortly after late registration concluded.

Ana "anamarquez." Marquez performed the best of the group but still finished nearly 100 players away from the money in 242nd place.

Final Table Action

The final table began about 11 hours after the tournament kicked off and lasted about two hours. Belarus' "ALLCasH90" kicked things off with the chip lead after eliminating Russia's "77kol0bok77" in 10th place for $1,534.

Shortly after the final table began, "ALLCasH90" extended their chip lead with a bit of luck on their side while taking two opponents out. Fireworks erupted with Russia's Denis "_DENGER_" Kuznetsov (ninth - $1,857) getting it in with kings, Canada's "wigglez333" (eighth - $3,230) getting it in with queens, and "ALLCasH90" getting it with jacks on a six-high board. A jack spiked the turn and the field was quickly down to seven players.

Romania's "vasi_vsm" was the next to go in seventh place for $4,845. This player three-bet jammed with ace-jack for four big blinds and lost to the ace-deuce held by Lithuania's "retiree" with an ace and deuce appearing on the flop.

Shortly after "MuckFest" snagged the chip lead and had half the chips in play by first eliminating Finland's "sheikkkeri" (sixth - $6,460) before winning a big hand off of "ALLCasH90".

"retiree" was then retired in fifth place for $8,075. "ALLCasH90" limped from the small blind with kings before they called a ten big blind jam from "retiree" with jack-four.

"ALLCasH90" was at it again a few minutes later after jamming the small blind with king-seven suited. They were called by Brazil's Ramon "BlacKK_DucKK" Kropmanns with ace-eight suited. Despite hitting an ace on the board, Kropmanns was eliminated in fourth place for $11,467 with his opponent improving to a straight.

It didn't take long from there for the action to be trimmed down further to heads-up play. "GramNaKartke" limped from the small blind with jacks. "ALLCash90" jammed with king-ten suited and got there after their opponent called off for their remaining 13 big blinds to eliminate "GramNaKartke" in third place for $15,343.

The stacks were close to even to start heads-up play with "ALLCash90" holding a small chip lead. This player extended their lead to a nearly 2:1 advantage before sending the lead back over "MuckFest".

The lead exchanged back and forth one more time before "MuckFest" extended their edge to a 4:1 chip advantage.

The final hand was a bit of a cooler. "ALLCasH90" jammed for about 13 big blinds with ace-five from the small blind only to run into the rockets held by "MuckFest". The aces held and "MuckFest" shipped the event for $28,230.

Meanwhile, "ALLCasH90" collected the runner-up prize of $20,510 and the tournament was in the books.
