The Weekend Preview

The weekend is upon us and that means many of you will have some much-needed downtime coming your way. What better way to kick back and relax than by entering one, two, or all three of the following value-packed online poker tournaments? The WSOP Online is right around the corner, and the live WSOP 2021 is only a matter of months away. Taking down one of these tournaments will give you plenty of ammunition for each of those festivals.

Turn $50 into a Share of $1 Million Guaranteed at GGPoker

GGPoker has a reputation for running some of the biggest multi-table tournaments in the online poker world, but it has some events at the more affordable end of the buy-in scale that still have juicy prize pools.

For instance, take the $50 Global MILLION$, a multi-day tournament that only costs $50 to enter, although $2.50 satellites are available, yet has a whopping $1 million guaranteed prize pool! The tournament needs 21,740 entrants to hit the guarantee because your $50 buy-in is actually made up of $46+$4. it should not be a major surprise to learn the Global MILLION$ overlaid last week and the week prior.

Last week's tournament attracted 19,624 players across a multitude of flights. Everyone who navigated their way to the nine-handed final table walked away with at least $10,012 for their $50 investment. The tournament ended in a six-handed deal that saw prizes of $47,526 and $62,727 awarded!

There are still many Day 1s to jump into, so what are you waiting for?

Fancy Some PKO Action Over at PokerStars?

Head over to PokerStars from 5:30 p.m. BST on June 27 if progressive knockout tournaments are your forte. The $55 Mini Bounty Builder HR [Progressive KO] is the event that has your name written all over it.

The tournament may only cost $55 to enter, less if you win your seat via satellites starting at only $2.20, but has $300,000 guaranteed to be won. Half that sum goes into the main prize pool with the remaining 50% going on the heads of each and every entrant. Bust an opponent and you win at least $12.50.

You sit down with 25,000 chips and play to a 10-minute clock where the blinds start at 125/250/30a, which means there is plenty of room to play poker and to allow the cream to rise to the top. Will you take down this tournament on Sunday?

Begin Your Quest To Become the World Cup of Cards Main Event Champion

The $1,100 buy-in World Cup of Cards Main Event kicks off at partypoker at 8:05 p.m. BST on June 27. it comes with a massive $1 million guaranteed prize pool. You may be wondering what a $1,100 buy-in event is doing in an article talking about a $50 and $55 tournament, here's why.

The WCC Main Event does cost $1,100 but there are dozens of satellites feeding into it. A Day 1A Mega Satellite is your best route into this prestigious event because it has 50x $1,100 seats guaranteed.

That mega Satellite pitches its first cards at 5:05 p.m. BST on June 27. Buying into it directly will set you back $215. However, the Mega Satellite is a phased tournament, which means you can buy into lower buy-in phases and play your way into the $215 final.

Players in Ontario, Canada are now allowed to play on several online poker sites including GGPoker, PokerStars and 888poker. Check out the online poker rooms in Ontario for more details!

Phases come with buy-ins of $4.40 and $22, but there are also centroll feeders costing a mere $0.01 to enter, hence their name. These run around the clock, so make sure you check out partypoker when you get the chance!
