The popular Global Poker x U.S. Poker Open online poker series is returning to the social poker site April 8, and there will be some juicy prizes up for grabs.
In total, Global Poker is guaranteeing Gold Coins (GC) 202,500,000 and Sweeps Coins (SC) 405,000 throughout the series, which runs through April 21. Let's take a look at the full schedule and highlights.
Global Poker U.S. Poker Open Schedule Highlights
The series will run parallel to the live U.S. Poker Open, a PokerGO production that takes place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Those who'd rather play online will have plenty of opportunities to win big.
Play begins on April 8 with two opening freerolls followed by eight trophy events both on the GC and SC sides. On the backend of the series, we'll find out who the true U.S. Poker Open champions are. Each trophy event winner will be automatically entered into the Tournament of Champions, which begins April 20.
The winners of each trophy event �� both Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins �� will receive a trophy, merchandise, and TOC entries, along with, of course, their share of the prize pool. But the Tournament of Champions winners will walk away with some incredible prizes. On the Gold Coins side, the champion receives Global Poker merch, a signed felt from the live 2024 U.S. Poker Open, and GC 2,500,000. The Sweeps Coins champion will take home an exclusive Las Vegas package, which includes $5,000 towards travel, $5,000 spending money, and an annual subscription to PokerGO, to be awarded during a special ceremony at the PokerGO Studios.
