Aditya "Intervention" Agarwal is an Indian professional poker player who hails from Bangalore and who has over $1.5 million in live poker tournament earnings. Agarwal's largest cash weighs in at $286,705, his reward for a runner-up finish in the $10,000 NLHE Super Turbo Bounty event at the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP). At the 2024 WSOP, Agarwal won his first bracelet in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event; he collected $189,661.
Agarwal's first recorded live result came in 2006, and he now has over 110 results on his record. A 15th-place finish in the 2007 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Main Event earned him �25,100 ($34,313), which was his biggest single cash at the time. However, a 96th-place finish in the 2008 WSOP Main Event earned Agarwal $51,466.
Agarawal had to wait until March 2018 for his first six-figure haul. He banked $242,211 for a runner-up finish in the APPT Macau Main Event. He came close to becoming a World Poker Tour (WPT) champion in September 2019, but ultimately finished fifth for $37,315 in the WPT Vietnam Main Event.

At the 2024 WSOP, Agarwal won the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event for $189,661, outlasting 1,424 players to become a WSOP champion for the first time.
