It was while streaming on Twitch that Stevens enjoyed by far the largest online poker tournament result of his glistening career. Tevens was one of 6,023 entrants in the $5,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Main Event at GGPoker, the biggest such tournament ever held at GGPoker.
Stevens entered the final table with a slight chip lead over his opponents, but put in an incredible display of aggressive poker, and he emerged victorious while live on Twitch. A delighted Stevens tried but failed to rip off his t-shirt, such was the delight at capturing a $2,783,432 payout and his first gold WSOP bracelet.
Poker media, industry experts, and then the poker-playing public voted for Stevens to make the shortlist in the category of Best Streamer at the 2023 Global Poker Awards. Stevens found himself against Kevin "kevinmartin" Martin, and PokerStars duo Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg and Lex "LexVeldhuis" Veldhuis.
