Carl Shaw is a British poker player and World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner with $2.3 million in live earnings.
While his live results date back to 2013, Shaw had his poker career cash in 2019 when he defeated Tony Dunst in $5,000 No Limit Hold'em at the WSOP for $606,562 and his first bracelet. The same summer, Shaw finished 101st in the WSOP Main Event for $59,295.
Shaw has also had plenty of success on the European circuit, including finishing runner-up in �2,100 No Limit Hold'em at 2022 EPT Barcelona for $62,971 and in $2,000 No Limit Hold'em at the 2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure for $69,200.
Also in 2023, Shaw reached the final table of the Irish Poker Open �1,150 Main Event and finished in seventh for $61,729. He went on to add a third place finish in the EPT Main Event in Barcelona for $972,805.
Later that year, Shaw made the final table of nine in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. He outlasted a field of 3,835 runners to make the final table in a tournament that offered a $40 million guarantee.
