Biography

Chad Holloway is a Wisconsin native who began a writing career in poker after taking a leave of absence from law school. He worked as an intern at the 2009 World Series of Poker before freelancing for PokerNews the following year. In October 2010, he joined PokerNews full-time as a senior writer. In addition to writing daily articles, Holloway occasionally joins the PokerNews Podcast and Live Reporting Team. Since 2024, Chad has been the PR & Media Manager for PokerNews.

In 2013, Holloway won the WSOP Event #1 $500 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold'em by topping a field of 898 players to win the $84,915 first-place prize and his first gold bracelet.
