China Da Wu is a Taiwanese poker player living in California, United States, who won the $1,500 Closer event at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.
Wu cashed in three events in his native Taiwan between December 2022 and January 2023. He played at the 2023 WSOP, cashing in two events.
At the 2024 WSOP, Wu cashed in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty and the $1,500 Monster Stack before entering the $1,500 The Closer, the penultimate event on the 2024 WSOP's schedule. After two intense days of poker, the software engineer had outlasted 3,214 opponents and became a WSOP bracelet winner; he received $525,500 for his victory.
