Daniel Lazrus is an American poker player. Over the course of his career, he has won two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets.
In July 2021, Lazrus won the WSOP Online Event #28: $3,200 High Roller Championship. Playing under the username "RiverRats", Lazrus defeated a field of 202 players to win $205,347.
Just three months later, Lazrus won his second bracelet in Las Vegas. He won Event #17: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em for a cool $1,000,000.
"This one feels much more special," said Lazrus after the win. "It feels more legitimized than online did, just because it was a different atmosphere. This makes me happy with the decision I’m making of putting a lot of time into poker. The first was an achievement, this feels like THE achievement. I didn’t realize it yet but this is a much greater feeling, I can’t even begin to describe it."
