In Remitios first-ever WSOP Main Event appearance (2021), he navigated his way to the final table where he would be just eight eliminations away from securing $8 million and the title of pokers world champion. A remarkable achievement for someone who had just $1,809 in live earnings prior to the tournament.
Remitio started his Main Event quest on Day 1d and finished 233/1,933 entrants. Day 2abd went well, too, with Remitio bagging up enough chips for 99th place from the 1,440 players competing.
Day 3 went even better as he bagged up the third-largest stack, but he only added 277,000 chips to his stack on a frustrating Day 4. Remitio more than doubled his stack on Day 5, but found himself in the middle of the pack (42/96) before excelling on Day 6 to finish with the third-most chips from the 36 survivors.
The penultimate day worked out well for the Arizona native, finishing Day 7 with exactly 40,000,000 chips, enough for fourth place at the restart.
Remitio almost never made the final table and was bailed out on the river deep in Day 7.
During the 33rd level of the tournament, with blinds of 200,000/400,000/400,000a, Koray Aldemir opened to 800,000 from under the gun, Ugur Secilmis called from the next seat over, before Ramon Colillas three-bet to 3,400,000. Remitio cold four-bet all-in for 8,250,000, and only Colillas called.
It was J?J? for Remitio against the A?K? of Colillas. The K?6?7? flop gave Colillas the advantage, but the 7? turn gave Remitio some additional outs. The 4? river completed the board while improving Remitio to a spade flush, which doubled him to 18,900,000 chips

His exceptional run would come to end at the hands of the United Kingdom's Jack Oliver, Remitio went all in for 13,400,000 with J?7? on the button and Jack Oliver called in the big blind with A?2?
Both players nailed a pair on the A?10?7? flop, which kept Oliver in the lead. Neither the 4? turn nor 2? river changed that and Remitio, loudly cheered on by his wild rail, left the stage in 4th place for $2,300,000. Just like that, Remitio's all time career earnings went from four-figures to seven.
