Marcus Edengren is a poker player hailing from Alta, Sweden, best known for winning Event #43: $1,500 Mixed Omaha at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.
Edengren's live tournament cashes date back to March 2007. His first WSOP in-the-money finish came in 2019 when he cashed in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event. His next WSOP result didn't appear until 2013. It was in another $1,500 buy-in event, this time Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo.
Until the 2024 WSOP, Edengren had only enjoyed one five-figure score, but then another two arrived at once. He finished 12th in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $28,891. A week later, he finished 35th in the $10,000 Big O Championship for an additional $20,306.
The Swede then won the $1,500 Mixed Omaha event, consisting of PLO8, Limit Omaha 8, and Big O. The victory gifted Edengren a career-best $196,970 and his first WSOP bracelet.
