Mostafa Haidary is an Australian poker player who won his first bracelet at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Haidary won Event #52: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em for $656,747.
Apart from trips to the WSOP, all of Haidary's live tournament cashes have come in tournaments held in his native Australia, which is to be expected due to the country's location. He claimed his first five-figure score, $12,205, for a fourth-place finish in an A$1,150 Pot-Limit Omaha event at the 2016 Aussie Millions.
He beat that score with a 12th-place finish in the A$1,150 NLHE Opening Event of the 2018 Aussie Million, which earned him the equivalent of $13,798.
When the WSOP International Circuit headed to Sydney, Haidary finished 10th in its Main Event for the equivalent of $22,197.
In 2023, Haidary finished third in the WPT Prime Gold Coast event for a new career-high of $119,388.
Haidary flew to Las Vegas for the 2024 WSOP, where he cashed in the $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em. A week later, Haidary came out on top in the $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event, winning his first WSOP bracelet and $656,747.
