Phillip Hui is a professional poker player hailing from Texas, United States. He is a four-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner with over $4.2 million in live tournament winnings.
Hui's recorded results date back to January 2009. Like most poker players, most of Hui's early results stemmed from low-stakes tournaments. He finished sixth in a $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event at the 2013 WSOP for $57,324, which seemed to open the floodgates to similar and larger scores.
At the 2014 WSOP, Hui won the $3,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better tournament for his first bracelet and $286,976, which was a new career-high for him. He came close to capturing a second bracelet in 2017, but fell in second place in the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. event.
Now grinding mixed games in addition to No-Limit Hold'em tournament, Hui enjoyed much success at the tables. All of his hard work paid off at the 2019 WSOP, when Hui won the $50,000 Poker Players Championship for his second-bracelet and a cool $1,099,311.
Hui became a three-time bracelet winner in 2022, winning the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event for $311,782. Bracelet number four found its way to his wrist following his victory in Event #35: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. at the 2024 WSOP. That victory earned Hui $193,545.
