Ren "Tony" Lin is a Chinese-born professional poker player currently residing in New York, United States.
Lin began his live poker tournament career grinding low-stakes events in Las Vegas in late 2015, and enjoyed plenty of success. A prolific players with more than 130 live cashes to his name, Lin's career has hit new heights since 2021.
After five cashes in the 2020 WSOP Online at GGPoker, Lin flew out to Las Vegas for the live WSOP. He cashed in 14 events, including the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em, where he finished third for $186,803.
A little over a week later, Lin took down a $10,000 buy-in event that was part of the PokerGO Tour Aria High Roller Series, and netted $147,600. Lin's incredible run continued when he finished second to Mikita Badziakouski in the WSOP $50,000 High Roller for $903,610.
Now armed with an ample bankroll, Lin has become a regular in live events around the world. Five and six-figure scores appear to be the norm for Lin these days. He collected $619,200 after finishing as the runner-up to Ognyan Dimov in the $25,000 High Roller at the 2023 PCA, and added five six-figure hauls to his ever-growing earnings between the PCA and the 2023 WSOP.
