Biography

Sami Bechahed is a French-American poker player and dealer, best known for winning the PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Main Event in 2023.

Bechahed, who works part-time as a dealer on Hustler Casino Live, defeated a 1,095-entry field to win $268,945 and the title of first NAPT champion in 12 years.

After winning the NAPT Main Event, Bechahed said he would keep his dealing job.

��I will never do poker full time, ever. I don��t need the stress of the downswings,�� he told PokerNews. ��I like to have my little [dealing] job, and it keeps me in poker. I��m always thinking poker, whether I��m at work or when I��m playing.��

One year before his NAPT victory, World Series of Poker Circuit Choctaw Main Event for $274,916.
