Quite a few players have been given tricky decisions in the High Roller with on 30 seconds to act it can add to the pressure. Of course they have 2 time bank chips that give them an extra 60 seconds of thinking time but they arent in use as much as may be expected and everyone seems to be enjoying the increased number of hands-per-hour and the unambiguous nature of each players allotted time.
The shot clock is also running in the Main Event Day 1a which is currently also running and one player, Mr Bond, wanted to know whose idea is was and whether they had imposed it on the tournament?
On being told it was an 888Poker initiative, Mr Bond voiced his strongest approval.
Its the best thing ever. Some players think they are the best of the best. Now they have to act. Its fantastic, thank you 888.
