Some Strong Play from Strong Play
Joel 'Strong Play' Dodds opened to 1,500 from the hijack and Con Angelakis smooth-called from the cutoff as the dealer dropped a flop.
Dodds fired out a continuation bet of 2,200 only to have Angelakis bump it to 5,200.
Dodds peered over at what remained of Angelakis' stack - roughly 16,500 - and proceeded to three-bet to 27,200 to put Angelakis all in.
"Kings?" asked Angelakis after a few moments of deliberation.
"S**t! I need a second!" added Angelakis after a further few minutes.
"Can I phone a friend? David!" asked Angelakis.
"I know what you should do, but I can't tell you!" responded David Saab from across the other side of the table.
Now standing, Angelakis looked at Dodds and tried to get something from the stone-cold poker player, "Really? Kings or aces? I just don't know what to do!"
A further two minutes went by before Angelakis eventually kicked his cards to the muck to slip to 16,500 as Dodds climbs to 59,000 in chips.
